Dr. Robert Liu is dedicated to providing warm, comprehensive, and high-quality dental care to patients at Sunset Dental Centre in Greely and the surrounding Ottawa community. Dr. Liu’s journey in healthcare began in Ottawa, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Carleton University in 2013. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from McGill University’s Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences in 2017.
Driven by a commitment to comprehensive patient care, Dr. Liu has pursued extensive post-graduate training in implantology and complex surgical rehabilitation:

In addition to implant surgery, Dr. Liu trained closely under a specialist orthodontist for three years, developing deep expertise in the Damon Braces system to offer effective, low-friction orthodontic solutions.
By integrating this advanced training with digital 3D printing and an in-house laboratory, Dr. Liu maintains complete hands-on control over every restoration — from Damon orthodontic care and custom retainers to multi-unit bridges and full-arch implant restorations. This direct approach supports shorter wait times, precise fits, and more streamlined treatment delivery.
